Sparkling WInes

Ruinart Blanc de Blanc $105 Bottle

The wine shows a superb, golden yellow color with a beautiful luminosity and a fine and persistent mousse. The nose is clean and intense with warm, rich notes of brioche, French toast and roasted almonds. On the palate the wine is very supple and harmonious, with notes of honey and minerals on the long, sustained finish.

Ruinart Blanc de Blancs is produced from a blend of 100% premiers crus Chardonnay grapes from the best of recent vintages. Grapes from the estate vineyards in Sillery and Brimont (ancestral home of the Ruinart family) are joined by carefully selected grapes from other premiers crus vineyards in the Côte de Blancs and the Montagne de Reims.

White WInes

Domaine Servin, Chablis Permier Cru from Vigneron 2008 $86

A deft touch of wood allows the citrus and floral aromas liberally laced with seashore nuances to gracefully introduce powerful yet elegant and beautifully focused flavors brimming with extract and a very fine minerality that stain the palate on the balanced, pure and vibrant finish. Lovely."

Zd Wines Chardonnay - Napa - 2005 - $76

ZD's 2005 Chardonnay shines with traditional "ZD Style". Our pursuit of richness and balance is achieved through careful selection of quality vineyards from California's esteemed cool growing regions including Napa, Monterey and Santa Barbara counties. A unique winemaking approach of cold barrel fermentation in toasted American oak barrels gives this wine a deep opulence with aromas of fresh tropical fruit and a hint of vanilla and coconut. No malo-lactic fermentation results in a preservation of crisp acidity that gives the wine a clean finish in addition to a lingering aftertaste. Drink this wine now to enjoy the fruit forward characters or allow some bottle aging to develop an impressive depth and complexity.

Red WInes - Pinot Noir

Fiddlehead Fiddlestix 2006 - Santa Rita Hills - $75 Bottle

14.3% alc., 250 cases. A selection of the best 6-10 barrels in the cellar intended to represent the best of the vintage... Dark reddish-purple color. Black cherry, blackberry personality with hints of mocha and earth. Grainy ripe tannins still need time to soften. Well-endowed but suave and will benefit for cellaring. Very good.

Hartford Pinot Noir 2008- Fog Dance Vineyard - Russian River $84 Bottle

Deep red. Ripe aromas of spicy dark berries, cherry liqueur and licorice. Supple, sweet and pretty powerful, with gentle minerality giving the bitter cherry and black raspberry flavors lift and precision. Finishes long, chewy and gripping.

Hartford Pinot Noir 2007- Hailey's Block- Russian River $90 Bottle

High-toned red and black cherry, wild strawberry and Mandarin orange flavors complement a round, silky finish. Fine grain tannins along with layers of vanillin and spice notes round out this elegant Pinot Noir.

Hartford Pinot Noir 2007- Velvet Sisters - Russian River $90 Bottle

This alluring and hedonistic wine has amazing extract and purity of fruit focus. Vibrant fruit aromas of grenadine, red cherry and raspberry soufflé harmonize with lilac and cinnamon stick notes. The captivating aromas lead into equally vibrant flavors of cherry, raspberry and gingerbread. Explosively rich and sensuously elegant, this charismatic wine drinks beautifully upon release.

Williams Selyem Pinot Noir 2008 - Russian River $120 Bottle

Primarily from our Drake Estate Vineyard (Pommard & Clone 115) planted in 1998, with a bit from vineyards along Westside Road. The nose is redolent of blackberries, plums, toffee, and crème brûlée. The rich and full tannins accentuate blackberry and dark plummy fruit flavors, and complement the creamy, silky finish. The concentrated dark fruits and spicy flavors truly express the classic depth, complexity, and finesse that you would expect from our Russian River Valley pinot noir.

Bertrand Ambroise Burgundy 2007 - Nuits Saint Georges $110 Bottle

A mix of red and blue fruit aromas nuanced by hints of earth and anise give way to rich, full and impressively complex flavors that possess slightly finer tannins that contribute to the impression of velvet on the full-bodied finish that is very Nuits but not especially rustic. Worth a look.

Bertrand Ambroise Burgundy 2004 - Nuits Saint Georges $160 Bottle

Responsible for some of the greatest wines on earth - the exhausted red wines of France's Burgundy region. Pinot Noir is a notoriously fickle grape that expresses its origins like no other. It's a vine that needs to struggle to produce great wines but when it does the depth of flavors that range from cherry to cola can be explosive and the wines' bright acidity and gentle tannins make them approachable and widely appealing
